Semester Review

When this semester started, I thought,"this is it, the final semester, the final few months after 4 years of studying here at Taylors." When it ended, it was surreal, it was bittersweet. I couldn't believe it, I graduated from Taylor's University, those years of seeing the same people in class everyday for 4 years is over. I believe we all felt that way, except it was weird that nobody dropped a tear in our farewell dinner, probably because we all knew we'd see each other again soon.

The final semester had fewer modules, but the same workload, actually I believe given the time constraints, it could even be harder. Right in the offing of the semester, we were busy with our Dissertation's data gathering. In the latter half of the semester, we were concluding our Dissertation & working on our final few assignments. I was stressed like never before honestly, having to fast in Ramadhan was not helping it of course. But with the stress comes newer knowledge, newer abilities, never have I ventured on my own to conduct interviews with practitioners of the industry, never have I worked together with juniors in completing a workshop, never have I been more satisfied of the work I have done after the sacrifices I have made (sacrificing sleep, not souls).

But throughout it all, I am thankful to have a lot of friends close to me, in all the times of stress, they were there. We still had fun together, after it was all over, we ventured across Malaysia with no troubles in our mind, no Research to think about, no exams to study for, just a group of crazy friends being a loud nuisance to locals around Malaysia. Growing up through my puberty years in the course, my personality could be affected by the people around me, & I can say for sure that every person in the small class of ours, have a good heart. I am blessed to have them, & I will miss them, they have been an immense part of my life.
